Nexus 9

Yesterday, 16th October 2014 Google announced the new HTC Nexus 9 along with Nexus 6 and Nexus player. Nexus 9 is the first HTC manufactured tablet in the Nexus tablet series. Nexus one released at January 2010, one of the most popular nexus device on market at the earliest stage of the nexus venture was handcraft by the Taiwanese company HTC. With the announcement of Nexus 9 its pretty clear that HTC is stepping back into tablet market very strongly.

Design

Even if the device was unlike the rumor (unibody metallic design), HTC delivered a premium looking tablet like Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 with matte soft plastic feel and a vertically aligned Nexus logo at the back. 


OS

Nexus 9 will the first android tablet optimized for 64-bit with both hardware and software. With Android L(latest Android version) include new Material design changes, notification improvement, improved security, battery optimal usage and lot of minor tweaks like searchable settings and revised quick setting etc.

Display

Nexus 9 have a 8.9 inch IPS display with 2048x1536 which make it special from the previous nexus tablet. The display so crisp and beautiful. 

Nexus 9 will be available for pre-order in US starting on October 17 of this year. Nexus 9 is expected to arrive in India by 2nd week of December at a approximate price of Rs 25,000.

Nexus 9 is a tablet stuffed with lot of good configuration and more over the latest version of Android (Android L) will be the great deal for this price range on the Christmas month.

Mangalyaan : Indian Mission to Mars
